Meet the Artists

Davon Deshaun

Devon Deshaun is a self-taught artist whose work pulses with cultural pride and expressive energy, celebrating identity shaped by his past, present, and future. Born and raised in Waco, TX, Devon’s art journey started when he received a scholarship to attend the Art Institute of Dallas where he truly found his love for design and fine art.

A spontaneous night of painting during his senior year in college ignited his desire to create work that he wanted to see in the world. Since then, he’s hosted his first solo exhibition at NKA Gallery in Nashville, been highlighted for a community campaign for the City of Waco, and participated in multiple group showings in the DFW area. Over the past year he’s been consistently live painting around Dallas which has led to collaborations with brands like Wingstop, Dallas Trinity FC, the City of Grand Prairie, and Crowned Scholars.

His work aims to represent his culture in a new, refreshing, and elevated way, and to give voice to underrepresented communities in the art world.

Matthew Colby Miller

Matthew Colby Miller is an artist and designer living and working in Fort Worth, Texas. Working in paint, sculpture, and sound, his practice is a quiet excavation — a search for the beauty that surfaces briefly within the chaos of daily life before it dissolves back into the static of time.

He isolates these moments of recognition, then works to obscure them, tracing the passage of change, growth, and decay through each layer. What remains are fragments familiar enough to both unsettle and resolve, each piece caught somewhere between pattern and its collapse.
